Interaction Designer (SC CLEARED) - 3 - 4 Month Contract - £450-500 Outside IR35 - Remote + Adhoc travel

Interaction designer who has great knowledge and experience in GDS then you are urgently required for a Global Technology leader.

The role is to support the client in the complete set up of a new design system. You will have experience in using Government Digital Services design system, especially applying it to solve complex policy problems

Role responsibilities:

• You'll be communicating effectively across political, organizational and technical boundaries.
• Whilst making complex and technical information/language simple to understand for non-technical audiences.
• Create and design effective prototypes using GDS prototype system.
• Design systems for users across various services whilst being able to identify the simplest of variety approaches
• Highlight opportunities and challenges for the future evolution of the design system, including recommendations for hosting solutions and building a prototype kit.
• Provide support with the GDS design system, ensuring a clear understanding of it's application with the client's specific context and conduct a review of other government design system to extract best practices
• End-to-end designing. Creating design assets for Alpha phased. For example; end-to-end journey maps, service blue prints, personas - all based on evidence and research

Skills & experience:

• Experience and good knowledge of GDS design system
• Excellent communication on a technical and non-technical basis
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and applying an Agile mindset to all aspects of your work
