Your Playground:

In this key role, you are the navigator of the financial ship, responsible for Financial Control, Accounting, and Internal Control. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will lead an Assistant Financial Controller and ensure a transparent and effective financial structure within the international organization and finance column.

Your Challenges:

Optimize Financial Control and Accounting processes, with an eye for both detail and the big picture.

Implement robust internal controls while juggling various statutory and regulatory accounting standards.

Lead cross-functional projects, using your expertise to bridge the gap between numbers and strategy.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality execution of Financial Control, Accounting, and Internal Control activities;

  • Leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of effective internal controls, including documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Reporting in line with various statutory and regulatory accounting standards.
  • Contributing to the integrity and transparency within the accounting team.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports with the team.
  • Coordinating external (financial) audits.
  • Supporting cross-functional projects from an accounting and control perspective.

Are You the Ideal Candidate?

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Controlling.
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international environment.
  • Expertise in process management and optimization, with a love for LEAN principles.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit comfortable in our informal and rapidly growing organization.
  • Driven and enthusiastic about fostering both your own development and that of the organization.
