Join Our Team as a Traffic Planner!
We are seeking a dedicated Traffic Planner to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maximizing fleet utilization by establishing backhaul lanes and collaborating with hauliers and internal departments. If you're passionate about optimizing transport operations and delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you!
Location: Bradford, UK
Working Days / Hours: Monday to Friday / 10:30am - 7pm
What Will You Be Doing?
- Managing vendor collections and covering loads with subcontractors
- Establishing backhaul lanes to maximize fleet utilization
- Utilizing the DBSchenker network for efficient outbound load coverage
- Reviewing vehicle earnings and revenue reports
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders and managing customer orders.
About You
- You have a proven track record in transport planning and experience in a busy transport office environment
- General haulage / Backhaul experience essential
- Strong commercial awareness and proficiency in transport management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster stakeholder relationships
- A positive attitude and the initiative to drive continuous improvements
- Strong analytical skills to review revenue and cost reports effectively.
