Trainee Accounts Assistant, Telford £18,000 + study support and day release

Your new role
You will be working closely with the Financial Controller and Assistant Accountant and receive training and support to perform your duties which will include:

• Daily processing of sales invoices and posting customer remittances to the sales ledger
• Processing supplier invoices for both sterling and foreign currency to the purchase ledger and cash book
• Supporting the Assistant Accountant with Credit control and providing customer statements at month end
• Assisting with administrative tasks where required

What you'll need to succeed
The role would suit an A-level or college leaver who is determined to build a career in Accounts. You should have excellent communication skills, accuracy & attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative, as well as being proactive and professional.
