Global IT Systems Integrator requires an experienced Trader Voice Engineer with solid Trade Floor experience for a 6-month contract on site at Tier 1 Bank in in London. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive engineer with a strong background in trader voice technologies and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and maintenance for voice systems on a busy trade floor
• Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless voice operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple platforms and technologies

Required Experience:

• Proven background as a Voice Engineer in a Trade Floor environment
• Comfortable working onsite 4 to 5 days a week in a fast-paced financial setting
• Well-rounded experience across multiple systems - not siloed to one platform

• Trader Voice - turrets experience required, want to see similar Tier 1 banking experience (preference)
• BT Product/Azure based
• IPC skills (Legacy on prem + Cloud based)
• Conexxus
• Cloud 9/Symfony
• Flexinet
• SIP protocol
• One-view
• VDI experience/Citrix/Voice Over Internet > VPN
• AWS/Azure/GCP
• L3/L4 troubleshooting/support

Character profile

• Experience working on trade floor/with traders
• Thick skin - able to cope in a high-pressure environment
• A true subject matter expert - someone who can dive deep on technical elements + challenge/question when requests come in.
