Thisrole is based at CumberlandSchool.

Our clinicians are acrucial part of the most joined-up model in SEND. Across all of ourspecialist schools and children's homes, we provide unrivalledlevels of clinical support, both in terms of our expertiseand breadth of provision. Our young people present with acomplexity of need including developmental trauma,neuro-developmental conditions and special educationalneeds.

As aTherapies Assistant you will work under the direct supervision ofthe onsite Speech and Language Therapist and OccupationalTherapist. You'll support the running of one-to-one and small groupinterventions and gather the required information for high qualityassessments. Working as part of the team around the child, you'llalso liaise with parents, carers, colleagues and partner agenciesto support the best outcomes and environment for our children andyoung people.

  • We genuinely careabout our young people (and each other) so honesty and empathy is amust

  • The resilience to beable to deal with challengingsituations
