Job Description

The Team & Focus of the Role

Our Market Harborough office services all different workstreams at Fisher German, however the focus for this role will be primarily supporting our Telecoms team as well as the wider teams when needed. The telecoms team is a small niche market team of 6, including a Partner, 3 Surveyors, a Graduate Surveyor and a Project Administrator. The team advises many thousands of landlords across the UK who have telecoms apparatus on their land and buildings.

This is a permanent full-time position on a 37.5 hour contract (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm).

Duties will include:

  • Providing general support to the telecoms team including new instruction set up and closing down of files, production of terms of engagement letters, dealing with the teams anti money laundering requirements , setting up new projects in focal point and conflict of interest management
  • Preparation of fee invoices, chasing for payment of fee invoices in line with our terms of business and assisting with general financial management of the telecoms team including budgeting etc
  • Updating and maintaining landowner records
  • Being a point of contact for the teams' telecoms clients and being able to provide general assistance and support to our clients
  • Supporting some of our larger portfolio clients with telecoms access management support
  • Wider office administration and support to our wider Advisory Services division

The successful candidate will have

  • The ability to work well within a team but also from their own initiative
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a high task workload and problem solve
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of the MS packages
