Whether you grew up around dairy farming or gained a strong technical grounding through bovine genetics or feed sales, this position will immerse you in the UK dairy community.
The company is a well-established manufacturer and distributor or biological products for agriculture. They're trusted by a network of dairy farming customers up and down the country.
As the Silage Inoculants Technical Salesperson, you will be responsible for promoting our bespoke silage inoculant solutions helping dairy farmers enhance forage quality and improve livestock performance.
Your role will involve providing expert technical advice, building strong relationships on-farm, and offering tailored solutions to maximise silage quality.
The position requires extensive national travel to key dairy regions, helping you to grow and support our customer base.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with dairy farmers, nutritionists, and distributors across the UK.
Advise on a tailored range of silage inoculants, offering technical support and guidance to meet customer needs.
Conduct on-farm visits and deliver product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of solutions.
Offer ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and best practice advice for silage management.
Monitor industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity to stay ahead in the market.
Identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base across key dairy regions.
Represent the company at agricultural shows, industry events, and trade fairs to network and promote our products.
Your profile:
You hold a degree in a relevant agricultural field.
Ability to build relationships with and understand the needs of dairy farming customers.
A well-rounded technical knowledge of silage inoculation.
Readiness to travel nationally on a weekly basis.
Driven to deliver excellent standards of advice and achieve commercial objectives.
UK driving license is essential.
Ability to work autonomously and and with strong organisational skills.
