Job Title: Technical Design Engineer

Location: Staffordshire

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Hours: Mon-Thurs: 08:30 - 17:00, Fri: 08:30 - 15:00

Responsibilities:

• Design bespoke material handling systems using SolidWorks and related design software.
• Work with sales teams and clients to develop innovative solutions.
• Create detailed technical drawings and compile bills of materials.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring designs are delivered on time and within budget.
• Assist the technical team on-site when necessary, providing expert input. (Travelling when required)
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes and cost efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Design Qualification.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Draftsight Autodesk, or similar design software.
• Knowledge of light fabrications and technical design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, working both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and energetic approach.
