About the Role
As an Account Manager, you ll be the cornerstone of the account team, ensuring clients receive outstanding service and achieving exceptional outcomes. You ll drive media coverage, develop creative campaigns, and build strong relationships with clients and the media. You ll manage junior team members, oversee multiple accounts, and collaborate closely with clients to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client communications, including update calls, email responses, and meetings.
- Develop and execute PR campaigns aligned with client KPIs.
- Craft compelling media pitches and secure top-tier coverage across mainstream and industry outlets.
- Manage award submissions, speaking opportunities, and media events for clients.
- Oversee team workload, ensuring effective time management and delivery of exceptional results.
- Support new business pitches with research and campaign ideas.
- Monitor industry trends, proactively identify opportunities, and contribute to the agency s thought leadership.
- Represent clients at international trade shows and networking events.
About You
You re an experienced PR professional with 2 4 years of agency experience, a passion for technology and business, and a proven track record of delivering impactful campaigns. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building relationships, and have a knack for spotting media opportunities.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in B2B and B2C PR campaigns.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and future trends.
- Excellent writing, pitching, and media relations skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with new business pitches and client upselling.
