Location: Hastings
Salary: £23,723 - £24,790 pro rata, (Actual Salary £17,713 - £18,510)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 31.25 per week, Full-time, term time only
Start date: 3rd February 2025
Closing date: 9am Friday 10th January 2025
Interviews: Wednesday 15th January 2025 however we will interview suitable candidates as they are identified
About the role:
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis. This role will involve helping to implement work programmes for groups of children as well as assisting in the management/preparation of resources. The successful applicant will also provide cover for whole classes under a system of supervision for 30% of the employed time throughout the school year, daily lunchtime support and
be an academic support for 4 afternoons a week.

The successful candidate will:
- have experience of working with KS1 and KS2 aged children
- have good literacy and mathematical skills
- be hard working and adaptable to change
- ideally have some experience of supporting with children s phonics and / or reading.
