Hays Education are working exclusively with a well-established 'good' primary school in Wakefield with a rating of 'Outstanding' in the following areas: Behaviour and Attitudes. Early Years Provision. At this successful school their children come first. With a mission to clear and resolute: to empower each and every child. They are looking to recruit a Year 2 teacher starting in November 2024 until Christmas with the possibility of it being extended to the end of the Academic year. The ideal candidate for this Year 2 teacher job in Wakefield will have/be;

Qualified Primary Teacher (UK QTS)

In depth knowledge of the Upper KS1 curriculum

A commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning

Enthusiasm, energy and flexibility

High expectations and a commitment to raising attainment and achievement.

Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

In return the successful candidate for the Year 2 teacher job in Wakefield will have/be;

Paid to Scale (M1 to M6)

Able to accrue holiday pay which can be taken at any point
