Teacher of Spanish (KS3 and KS4) required from Easter 2025

Hays Education are supporting a large secondary school in the Wirral, who are community focused and have a strong teaching and support team to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish. This is a maternity cover position, starting after Easter, and will involve teaching Spanish to KS3 and KS4 students. Additionally, the role will include some cover supervisor responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Undertake cover supervisor duties as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall educational experience of students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4 levels.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
