Exciting Opportunity: Science Teacher in PooleDunbar Education is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Science Teacher to join an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 mixed academy in Poole.

Position Details

Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Poole
School Type: Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 mixed academy
Contract: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: January 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience (MPS/UPS)


About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Science Teacher to join a vibrant Science department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire young minds and contribute to the continued success of the academy.



Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning
