Your new role
We are looking for a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join this school in Cirencester, on a long-term temporary contract covering maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Drama to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, inspiring a love for the performing arts and fostering a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Plan and deliver engaging and innovative drama lessons.
  • Encourage student participation and creativity in performances and projects.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Participate in school events, productions, and extracurricular activities.

  • What you'll need to succeed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the performing arts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
