About the Role:
As an Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver inspiring lessons that not only align with national curriculum standards but also cultivate a love for artistic expression in our students. You will play a vital role in helping them explore various art forms and techniques, encouraging their creative growth and self-expression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver innovative and engaging art lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Inspire students through hands-on projects and interactive learning experiences that encourage creativity and exploration in the arts.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams, providing tailored support and resources to enhance their artistic skills.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to guide their development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our art curriculum, ensuring it reflects contemporary artistic practices and trends.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and independent expression.
  • Lead and participate in extracurricular activities, such as art clubs, exhibitions, and community projects, to enhance student engagement.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in art education.
  • Experience teaching art at GCSE and A-Level preferred.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a supportive and high-achieving learning environment.
  • Enthusiasm for engaging with the wider school community through extracurricular initiatives.
