Job Description
Primary Teaching role in Bridgwater

Your new school
A "good" small village school just outside of Bridgwater is looking for a Year 5/6 mixed class teacher to start in October until the end of the academic year. The Head teacher of this school taught Year 6 for over 13 years so you will have extensive support in place. This is a fantastic opportunity for KS2 teachers looking for a new challenge or those who love to be a part of the pupils last phase in primary education.
Your new role
You will be teaching and delivering lessons to a mixed Year 5/6 class of 24 pupils, 17 of them being Year 6. You will have the benefit of having a TA working in class with you every morning. The school are seeking to appoint a highly motivated KS2 Teacher with the ability to captivate students of all abilities with well planned, engaging and fun lessons. You will be passionate about raising attainment in literacy and numeracy and be able to differentiate your lessons accordingly to ensure all students meet or exceed their age-related expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced teacher who has the ability to differentiate their lesson plans for this mixed year group. You will need to have Qualified Teacher Status with relevant KS2 experience. To clear you for work you must be able to provide your last 2 working references as well. This school is looking for a teacher with a 'can do' attitude combined with good behaviour and classroom management
