Role Overview
The Tax Advisor will:
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, offering telephone advice on various taxation issues.
- Provide expert advice on complex tax matters, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Collaborate with the consultancy, advice line, and business development teams to deliver seamless and consistent client support.
- Undertake consultancy projects tailored to client needs.
- Write and publish topical articles on tax-related issues for the company's website and social media platforms.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Have tax advisory experience within a professional firm or similar environment.
- Be qualified - ATT or CTA ideally. ACA / ACCA also considered.
- Possess strong technical expertise in areas such as income tax, self-assessment, corporation tax, SDLT, and other tax matters.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of advising clients on complex issues with a client-focused, pragmatic approach.
- Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and tactfully.
- Show strong commercial awareness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think on their feet.
- Display integrity, professionalism, and a self-motivated attitude.
