Job Description

Systems Analyst required by my leading client based in Newcastle

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for delivering impactful IT solutions? We're looking for an IT Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team and help us transform business requirements into innovative systems and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with users to analyze business needs and lead discovery workshops, creating detailed specifications and user stories.
  • Partner with SaaS providers, software developers, and internal teams to design and implement solutions that align with customer and business objectives.
  • Oversee change management processes, including delivering releases, conducting compliance checks, smoke testing, and leading UAT.
  • Assess the impact of changes, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure smooth go-live transitions.
  • Schedule and execute major system upgrades, releases, patches, and bug fixes.
  • Collaborate with integration teams to enhance connections between product and marketing systems.
  • Provide advanced (3rd-level) support and guidance to operational support teams.
  • Assist the business with data queries, extracts, and analysis.
  • Maintain detailed system documentation and a robust knowledge base.

Your Skill Set:

  • Education & Experience:

    • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and experience.
    • Advanced proficiency in SQL.
    • Hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems-Centric PLM is a plus!
    • Familiarity with Product Information Systems and B2B portals.
    • Experience in the apparel/fashion industry is highly desirable.
  • Technical Expertise:

    • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach to troubleshooting and analysis.
    • Preferred knowledge of Postman and API integration.
    • Ability to provide out-of-hours support during critical incidents or maintenance.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Capacity to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • A visionary thinker who balances short-term problem-solving with long-term strategies.
