Job Description

Are you a people person with a knack for solving problems? As a Support Engineer for our digital agency client, you'll be the friendly face (or voice) that helps clients manage incidents and get the most out of their software.

You'll start your day by answering Service Desk calls, logging incidents, and handling service requests. You'll be the go-to person for clients, providing them with updates and ensuring their issues are resolved quickly. Your problem-solving skills will shine as you diagnose issues, apply first-line fixes, or escalate them when needed. Keeping detailed records of support calls will be second nature to you.

You'll take ownership of unresolved calls, making sure they reach the right team promptly. You'll also play a strategic role by raising awareness of recurring incidents and working with developers to find long-term solutions. Plus, you'll assist with trend analysis and problem investigations, making a real impact on the client experience.

We're looking for someone with a degree in a science-related subject that includes a software development module OR relevant industry experience. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will help you connect with clients and deliver top quality service. You'll have a natural aptitude for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and your attention to detail will ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, easily prioritising tasks and switching contexts as needed. A strong sense of responsibility and ownership is crucial. If you have knowledge of CRM and CMS systems (especially MS Dynamics and Umbraco), that's a bonus, but not a deal-breaker.

This role is hybrid, out of my clients North Bristol office, and they offer a great range of benefits, including a personalised learning Pathway to multiple roles and a generous salary of up to £35K. If you think this is the role for you, apply now!
