Job Description
Primary schools in Blackpool and surrounding are seeking Supply Teachers to start immediately.

Your new company
Hays are regularly looking to supply cover in Primary Schools across Blackpool and the surrounding areas to assist in covering classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. There is a high demand for reliable and motivated teachers to work with schools on day to day, short and long term basis. The roles available are full and part time depending on your requirements and availability.

Your new role
As you will be working as a supply teacher, notice could be given to you a week in advance or sometimes if urgent on the day however, we do aim to give as much notice as possible. Most of the time you will be delivering pre-planned lessons to a range of different classes and year groups. However, if you are required to plan a lesson you will be given prior notice of this.
The added benefit of doing supply day to day is that it frees up your own personal time outside of school as you aren't required to do any of the marking or assessing. You will be expected to cover several different classes across KS1 and KS2 so you will need to be flexible and have experience in both key stages.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running. Good knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum is preferred. However, this could be a perfect role for an NQT/ECT that is looking to gain some experience working within the primary school environment.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a competitive daily rate while gaining invaluable working experience. You will receive continued support from your experienced personal consultant who has forged strong relationships with local schools, along with free career development courses and free CV and interview advice.
