The Impact You'll Make in this Role
The Supply Chain Systems Business Analyst role supports the Advanced Wound Therapy (AWT) portfolio within Solventum's Medical/Surgical Division and is responsible for providing business intelligence solutions to various supply chain roles. A successful analyst will be able to clearly understand business requirements, develop complex data sets, analyze the validity of end user data, and provide end users simple and efficient access to support their data needs.
As a Supply Chain Systems Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Developing business intelligence capabilities within our global supply chain systems. Providing automated data solutions to global users.
Maintaining business intelligence systems by partnering with IT, monitoring automated processes, identifying data discrepancies, and rapidly resolving issues.
Building yourself as a subject matter expert on Business Intelligence systems by providing education and training on data management and visualization tools.
Investigating process and data gaps within the business intelligence systems, determining root cause, and analyzing options to mitigate risk.
Handling non-routine and difficult inquiries by adapting differing techniques and methods to develop solutions for a variety of complex issues.
Applying analytical skills for analysis and interpretation of trends or data generated by company reporting systems, statistical results, or other information collection systems.
Establishing and tracking metrics to measure the health of our supply chain systems.
Creating opportunities and innovative solutions to improve the end user experience of our supply chain teams.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher AND (4+) years of Business, Statistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
OR
High School Diploma/GED from AND (8) years of Business, Statistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
5 years of relevant work experience in business intelligence, supply chain, or operation in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Basic SQL development capabilities
Experience working with ERP, MRP II, MRP, SCP, APS, or DRP systems.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience developing analytical reports using PowerBI or related BI system
Strong analytical skills with experience in visual display, reporting to senior leadership and influencing the outcome.
Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with internal customers, internal/external suppliers and fellow team members at all levels.
Intense curiosity and passion for business processes and system utilization.
Experience Using Oracle, ASCP, SAP, or SO99+
