Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a supply chain planner to join a London-based health care distribution organisation. This role is offered as an initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension.

Role:

The supply chain planner will be tasked with the following:

  • Ensure stock availability at all times efficiently.
  • Maintain service levels of 99% or higher.
  • Follow up on late deliveries and out-of-stock items.
  • Obtain stock information from manufacturers weekly.
  • Keep customer messaging up to date.
  • Maintain lean inventory levels based on order cycles and contractual parameters.
  • Minimise product write-off risks.
  • Ensure replenishment aligns with product buying multiples.
  • Adjust purchase order (PO) lines and advance shipping notices (ASNs).
  • Conduct performance analyses and reporting.

Skills:

The supply chain planner should have the following experience:

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with SAP (ERP) & Excel
  • Effective time management and prioritisation.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Background in supply chain, FMCG, or pharmaceuticals (preferred).
  • Analytical and numerical data interpretation skills (advantageous).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

Organisation:

  • Health care organisation based in Surrey.
    Hybrid working: 3 days in the office.
    Initial 6-month contract.
