About the role
We are looking for a Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join the team at our Coleraine Manufacturing facility. Reporting to the SC Manager, you will be a key collaborator to support Material and Warehousing teams, in close collaboration with your colleagues of the production, commercial and customer care departments.

This is a permanent and is a full-time position based in Coleraine.

What will you be doing?
The main duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Planning & scheduling production plans based on stock positions, forecasted demand & customer orders.
  • Identify Material Requirements Planning (MPR) requirements using SAP process on a daily, weekly basis to ensure production planning and scheduling requirements are met and having the correct materials in place at the right time and in the right quantities.
  • Responsible for calling of required raw material and tertiary packaging items based on production plan whilst adhering to centrally defined inventory policy.
  • Create and assign purchase orders with relevant approved suppliers.
  • Identify missing material (Shortages) and expedite the same at the least cost to ensure meeting production planning requirements, escalating where necessary.
  • Monitor order status and resolve issues with supplier to meet requirements and customer service targets.
  • Analyze inventory and propose opportunities to further develop vendor managed inventory, consignment stocking options etc.
  • Track vendor performance against contract and calculating consumed consignment for payment. Work with the logistics team to check raw material stock and availability and suggest changes to new stock level and manufacturing schedule accordingly.
  • Weekly update of KPI reporting
  • Collaborate with other departments to address capacity issues and improve processes.

What experience and skills will you need?
  • Previous experience consolidated in a Supply Chain role ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Great computer skills proficient in using Excel, spreadsheets, databases, and SAP (mandatory)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration with internal and external colleagues
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to identify and actively plan improvements.
  • Enjoy working with figures and have a keen eye for detail.
