Our client is looking to hire a Supply Chain and Warehouse Coordinator to help them purchase materials at competitive prices and control the flow of stock through their warehouse.

Job Purpose

• Purchase best quality materials at the most competitive prices whilst taking into consideration Modern Slavery and Ethical Trading Policies
• Ensure purchasing of material for operational purposes
• Control the flow of stock through the warehouse, receiving, moving, checking and storing incoming goods
• Managing Health and Safety Warehouse and Perimeter ensuring they are kept clean and tidy at all times

Duties and responsibilities

• Dealing with daily / weekly purchasing of materials
• Develop and manage the price agreement process, ensuring validity of vendor price lists
• Develop and implement long term supply agreements
• Dealing with daily / weekly plant hire
• Raising purchase ordered
• Dealing with Suppliers
• Collating materials list
• PAT testing equipment
• General tidying off perimeter, engineers cabin, office area and warehouse
• Stock Control
• Plant Hire Control
• Register and clear all invoices for purchase ledger
• Updating FGAS, uniform, stock and any other procurement / warehouse related logs

Skills

• Experience of buying mechanical and electrical materials
• Ability to initiate, develop and implement buying strategies
• IT Literate
• Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks
• Able to work under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situation
