Job Description

Job Title: Stores Audit Controller

Location: Portsmouth BroadOak. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing and operating perpetual inventory audits and warehousing audits
  • Maintaining appropriate metrics and keeping them maintained
  • Managing and reporting on temperature, humidity and stores equipment across all warehouses
  • Managing and controlling the process of invoice payments for Logistics
  • Managing the disposal of stock including chemicals out of shelf life
  • Undertaking all duties in accordance with the SHE policy
  • Interfacing with other team leaders to provide a seamless service

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Competent with the use of SAP warehouse management ( WM )
  • Having experience or understanding of perpetual audits & understanding history of materials in SAP and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Understanding general logistics warehousing
  • Providing accurate & detailed information for internal/external audits
  • Experience of working at heights

Desirable:

  • Forklift experience

The Manufacturing Logistics team:

By joining the team, you will be working within a small team of 8, the successful candidate will have a one-to-one relationship with their customers and will interact with them on a daily basis. Stock accuracy has a major part to play with the financial framework and for the customer. This role is demanding and is measured throughout the year.

The team's main responsibility is cycle count auditing of materials and equipment owned and/or managed by Manufacturing and the disposal of redundant stock and the processing of non-conforming materials.
