Your tasks
  • You make our storage environment your home and stay on the ball to continuously develop and optimize our block, file and object storage solutions.
  • In other words, you think strategically, create the concepts, provide advice and support the implementation.
  • In daily business, availability comes first: You administer, operate, maintain and troubleshoot in the event of a fault or fire. On site or remotely.
  • Of course, you not only keep your own knowledge up to date, but also the corresponding presentations, documentation and manuals.
  • You also score points with reliability in 2nd level support - either in the use case or for the teams that test and develop.
  • In everything you do, continuity is your magic word and your input becomes central to our BCP processes.
  • For you, interfaces have a personal dimension as well as a technical one, which system manufacturers and partners appreciate just as much as users and your team.
Your profile
  • Degree / training in computer science or similar.
  • Several years of professional experience in the storage environment (preferably Unity, ECS, Powermax, Brocade)
  • Experienced in dealing with common server operating systems including system management tools, ideally proven by certification
  • In-depth knowledge of automation technologies and familiar with high-availability systems
  • Knowledge of IT security and interface management
  • Independent and meticulous working style
  • Strong communication skills, confident demeanor, constructive team player
  • Ability to think outside the box and develop sustainable solutions
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
