About the Role:We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Stock Condition Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive surveys of our housing stock to assess the condition and identify any necessary repairs or improvements. This role is crucial in ensuring our properties are maintained to the highest standards and meet all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed surveys of housing stock to assess the condition of properties.
  • Identify and document any defects, repairs, or improvements needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on survey findings.
  • Ensure all surveys are conducted in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with tenants and property managers to arrange access for surveys.
  • Maintain accurate records of all surveys and findings.
  • Assist in the development of maintenance and improvement plans.
  • Provide technical advice and support to the property management team.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in conducting stock condition surveys.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction and maintenance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in using survey software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
