SRE Architect- Long-Term - Amsterdam, Hybrid
Levy Professionals is currently looking for SRE Architect for one of the largest financial institutions in the Netherlands. You will be joining the bank to focus on creating reliable and available services for customers.
Responsibilities
As a Site Reliability Engineer, your role holds multiple facets. In this role, you will leverage your strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of architectural design principles to conduct thorough architectural reviews and provide actionable recommendations. You will also be involved in designing and refining the architecture of applications to ensure they meet high standards of scalability, fault tolerance, and availability.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in performing architectural reviews, designing resilient systems, and driving improvements in system reliability and performance.
Who are you?
- Extensive knowledge of Linux (RHEL) or Windows. Good Knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with RDBMS databases (Oracle, MS SQL) or NoSQL (Cassandra);
- Must have experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, elk, Grafana, etc).
- Good knowledge of CI/DC standards (preferably Azure DEVOPS)
- Extensive experience with monolithic application landscape.
- Good knowledge of at least one programming language.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (concept, SLI, SLO, error budgeting, availability reporting)
