The overall objective of an SAP Application Consultant in Transport Management and Yard Logistics is to streamline and optimize transportation and yard operations through the implementation of SAP TM and YL solutions, ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics processes. This role exists to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce logistics costs, contributing to the company's profitability and customer satisfaction.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and logistics teams, to gather and document requirements related to Transport Management, Yard Logistics, and Logistics Business Network processes.
2. System Implementation and Configuration:
• Support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP solutions in the areas of Transport Management, Yard Logistics, and Logistics Business Network
• Configure SAP TM and SAP YL settings based on industry best practices
