Speech and Language/Linguistics Graduate Barking & Dagenham Start Date: ASAP
Are you a passionate Speech and Language/Linguistics Graduate looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment? This full-time role in Barking & Dagenham offers the chance to gain hands-on experience while supporting SEN students and working closely with the school s dedicated Speech and Language Provision.
• Speech and Language/Linguistics Graduate Full-time, term-time only
• Work within a welcoming school community with excellent behaviour management
• Benefit from Continuing Professional Development opportunities
• Collaborate with Speech and Language professionals
• Located in Barking & Dagenham easily accessible for local candidates
• Salary of £90-£100 per day
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for SEN students, helping with speech and language development
• Work closely with the school s SENDCo and Speech and Language team
• Help foster progress and attainment in a supportive environment
To succeed as a Speech and Language/Linguistics Graduate, you will need a 1:1 or 2:1 degree in Speech and Language or Linguistics from a leading UK university (top 15). Experience working with children and previous involvement in speech and language settings is preferred. In this role, you will work on a 1:1 and small group basis, assisting students with special educational needs and helping to implement tailored speech and language interventions.
This large secondary school and sixth form in Barking & Dagenham is Ofsted-rated Good and places a strong emphasis on behaviour management, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
