Location: Remote with occasional travel to Warwick
Duration: Until 14/03/25
Contract inside IR35
Role Description:
A solution designer and architect to follow a solution brief for the development of a domain (cloud) joined kiosk Workstation (circa 30 devices) build for a high availability telephony solution.
The individual will be required, at pace, to design and build the solution themselves and ensure governance is met along the way.
The solution itself is a kiosk build Windows desktop solution that will be contained within a VLAN that has minimal external connectivity.
The individual will need design, config and build skills in the following headlining technologies/products: Microsoft Entra
Microsoft Intune
Microsoft Windows 11
Additionally, the Kiosk build developed will need to be deployed with the follow existing products which may require adjustment to operate in the context of this solution, the individual will be accountable for driving any necessary adjustments:
Microsoft Defender
Palo Alto XDR
TMC Telephony Client
Touchscreen and phone handset drivers and configuration
Scripting to enable operation of the telephone system in a manner similar to an existing operation
Other management agents such as SNOW Atlas, TeamViewer, etc as required for IT Service Management
The individual will be required to own the full design, delivery and testing of this element of the end to end solution:
Cloud solution - consisting Micsoft Entra and Intune
Workstation solution - consisting the build and lockdown to CIS 1 benchmark
Application deployment and configuration
Network configuration enabling communication with the line of business services at remote site, plus understanding and driving all relevant communications and networking for the device to communicate with management systems such as MS Entra, Intune, ServiceNow, etcTesting will be conducted to ensure the application functions, is operable by the user community, and that all infrastructure and supporting components are serviceable.
