Software Test Engineer - Permanent Position in Mechelen (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our team working on web solutions

Permanent, Excellent Salary, Hybrid in Mechelen, Belgium

In this role, you will conduct functional testing for our web solutions, integrating them with our Back End systems and desktop applications. Key responsibilities include designing precise, effective test cases based on functional requirements, tracking and analysing test results, and discussing outcomes. You will leverage automation to improve the efficiency of regression testing. Collaboration with development, functional analysis, and testing teams will be essential.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience in testing web applications and Server Side functionality
• Solid understanding of databases and SQL
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Swagger
• Familiarity with a Scripting language for test automation (eg, Python) is a plus
• A system-oriented approach and effectiveness in cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for ensuring system quality and reliability
• Adaptable and eager to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
