This is an Amsterdam-based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *maintaining production system stability, resolving incidents, and enhancing system performance through automation and monitoring*.

Role Overview:
Our client seeks a skilled Software Engineer to support Incident Management and Systems Reliability. The role focuses on maintaining production system stability, resolving incidents, and enhancing system performance through automation and monitoring. You'll contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software systems and provide architectural guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Incident Management: Diagnose and resolve live incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Systems Reliability Engineering (SRE): Develop automation to improve system reliability, and participate in monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning.
• Software Development: Design and develop scalable software solutions, ensuring code quality and performance.
• Architectural Guidance: Provide technical leadership and ensure solutions meet both functional and architectural requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and ensure data security and integrity.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with diverse teams, communicating clearly and solving problems collaboratively.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Java, Perl, Git, Linux, MySQL, Kubernetes, Kafka.
• 3-5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in an agile environment and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

On-Call Rotation:
May be required to provide support outside of normal hours.
