Reed.co.uk is looking for a Software Development Manager to join their Engineering Team in Holborn, London.

We are looking for a Software Development Manager to lead our new B2B Ecommerce team. You will drive technical leadership, foster a culture of ownership, and support engineers' growth. Your role includes delivering product roadmaps in an Agile environment, working closely with engineers, product managers, and scrum masters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers using C#, React (NextJS), and a microservice-based architecture.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time.

• Mentor engineers, manage performance, and promote professional development.

• Maintain and enhance a robust technical platform.

• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Success Metrics (1 Year):

• Significant improvement in Ecommerce performance and conversion.

• Seamless customer experience and optimised product pages.

• A maintainable, cutting-edge technical platform.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong engineering leadership with Agile experience.

• Expertise in C#, React, .NET Core, T-SQL, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).

• Proven track record in high-transactional E Commerce applications and performance optimisation.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
