Software Developer In Test / Automation Tester - £600 Per Day Outside IR35 - Initial 6 Month Contract - Fully RemoteOverview:An excellent contract opportunity has arisen with our client, an established financial services organisation. They are currently going through a major digital transformation project and require an Automation Tester / Developer in Test to join their dynamic team on a fully remote basis.This role is perfect for someone with strong software development and problem-solving skills, ready to take on a challenging and dynamic position.Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks
• Perform ETL process testing, API testing, and create automated scripts using Playwright and TypeScript
• Conduct manual testing where necessary to ensure overall system quality
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Python and Excel/Access VBA
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and improve testing strategies
• Ensure comprehensive testing coverage and accurate documentation of test results

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in developing and executing automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Proven expertise in testing ETL processes to ensure data integrity and system accuracy
• Hands-on experience in API testing, ensuring reliable and secure integration across systems
• Proficiency in Python for writing scripts, automating tests, and streamlining processes.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Access VBA for data handling, automation, and analysis.

Contract details:

• Initial 6 month contract
• £500 - £600 per day - Outside IR35
• Fully remote
