If you answered yes, Randstad is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join Blackburn and Darwen Council's Adult Safeguarding Team. This full-time position offers an attractive pay rate of £30 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Section 42 enquiries in accordance with the Care Act 2014.
• Participate in a duty rota, screening safeguarding concerns and managing allocated cases on non-working days.
• Collaborate with various agencies to develop and implement protection plans for individuals.
• Coordinate strategy meetings and case conferences.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Mental Capacity assessments.
• Manage a caseload without allocated cases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Registered with Social Work England
• Enhanced DBS clearance

Experience:

• Specialised in working with adults
