Skilled Arable and Spray Operator Roles

We have two exciting opportunities to join our 2000ha mixed farm growing cereals, oilseeds, mustard, pulses, potatoes, and sugar beet, with sheep and cattle integrated within the rotation.

We are looking for two enthusiastic, well-motivated and conscientious operators

• Direct drilling (Horsch Avatar), combining (Claas Lexion 8800), relief crop protection/nutrition applications (trailed sprayer), min till cultivations (JD6R250)(JD8RX)

• Crop protection/foliar nutrition applications (Fendt Rogator), direct drilling (Horsch Avatar), combining (Claas Lexion 8800), min till cultivations (JD6R250)(JD8RX)

The ideal candidates will be available by February and have:

• Interest in regenerative agriculture and experience of large-scale farming.

• Good communication skills/self-motivation/ability to work well in a team.

• Experience keeping accurate application and stock records.

• Proficiency in precision farming and GPS/RTK equipment.

• Understanding of working under the pressure of the farming calendar.

• Ability to operate and maintain machinery to a high standard.

• PA1/PA2/PA4 & BASIS desirable, Telehandler and forklift certification.

• Experience using front tanks for starter fertiliser/biological seed drenches.
