Site Manager Service Operations Offshore Wind

The Site Manager has the overall operational responsibility for Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) on site and the directive decision making authority for all daily service operations. Provide visible, strong and active EHS leadership within the Site and Project. Responsible to ensure the issuance of EHS standards, regulations and procedures to ensure a environment and to perform within your leading function as a role model.

• Has preferably a technical background, is able to handle changes and is stress resistant.

• Line manager for up to 15 technicians (progress talks, helping them develop and thrive) and able to lead the daily operations with multiple teams (up to 80 people).

• Responsible for ensuring that activities at site comply with company and project targets regarding Safety, Schedule, Cost and Quality.

• Active management of Risks and Opportunities of the site. And in case of deviations responsible for developing and implementing countermeasures whilst providing transparency for escalation and reporting.

• Customer management on site. Representing SGRE and the Service project as the first counterpart on Site towards the customer.

• (Functional) Leadership of the site team consisting of Planners, Technicians and Stock Keepers.

• Contribute to improve Service KPIs as well as reporting.

What you need to make a difference?

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for

• Experience with coordinating and/or managing service operations (corrective and preventive maintenance), preferably for offshore wind turbines.

• Excellent communication and people management skills.

• Ownership of Environment, Quality, Safety related and Operational topics.

• Knowledge about health and safety legislation.

• In possession of driving license B.

• IT, communication, presentation, organization, and awareness of company procedures.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and a good knowledge of Office 365 & other Microsoft applications.

• Fluent in English, preferably also fluent in Dutch.
