SHEQ Officer - Construction M&E - Co. Armagh

Your new company
Your new company is a specialist M&E and integrated facilities management contractor based in Co. Armagh, offering mechanical & electrical installation services ranging from small one-off projects to large-scale £multi-million schemes.

Over the last 25+ years, they have successfully provided a full range of Mechanical, Electrical and Facilities Management services to clients, across both public and private sectors throughout the UK and Ireland and now due to company expansion both in size & profile, the contractor are now seeking a SHEQ Officer to join their intimate team.

Your new role
As a SHEQ Officer, you will be responsible for assisting in all areas of HSEQ on a range of M&E and FM schemes across Northern Ireland, including ongoing frameworks with local, high-profile clients. With projects covering both NI & the UK, limited travel may be required.

You will support the SHEQ Manager in carrying out site inspections and audits, carrying out construction phase plans, ensure safe working practices, reviewing safe systems of work and assisting in the administration and management of IMS systems and ISOs.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered successful for the role, you will have previous experience working in a SHEQ Advisor role within a construction / engineering environment. You'll demonstrate a working knowledge of SHEQ standards & audit procedures with a sound understanding of implementing integrated ISOs (14001, 45001 & 9001) throughout a live project. You must be professionally qualified to NEBOSH level or hold a relevant BSc Degree.
