Service Desk, Helpdesk Analyst, Hatfield, Upto £30k, Hybrid

Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire (Hybrid - 3 days on-site)
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Type: Permanent

My client, a global leader in their domain, is searching for a Service Desk, Help desk Analyst to join their team in Hatfield. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues and requests, ensuring that end-users receive timely and effective support.
This is a hybrid role requiring you to be on-site 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support for IT incidents and service requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Log and document incidents, requests, and resolutions in the service desk system.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of hardware and software.
  • Maintain excellent communication with end-users and keep them informed of progress.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in a service desk or IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
