Senior Technical Architect

On behalf of The Ministry of Justice, we are looking for a Technical Solution Architect (Inside IR35) for a 24 Month hybrid contract based in any UK MoJ Office.

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government's ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position, (and speed at which we require a postholder in situ), preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.

Technical Solutions Architect

Key requirements:

.Business Needs and Objectives - Understand the business needs and objectives thoroughly. Familiarise themselves with complex requirements ensuring the technology solutions strategically align with and drive the organisation's goals.

.Existing Systems- Analyse existing systems and support the wider Programme to identify potential areas of improvement, recommend modifications or enhancements that increase efficiency and productivity.

.Technical Documentation and Architectural Diagrams - Review, feed back on and assure Technical Documentation and architecture diagrams. Ensure that all stakeholders clearly understand the nuances of the solution.

.Systems and Tools - Review selected systems and tools and support identification for optimising the design and implementation process, ensuring the chosen technology stack aligns seamlessly with the organisation's needs.

.Coordinating with Stakeholders - Coordination and collaboration with diverse stakeholders uniting teams and fostering a shared understanding and vision.

.Support Implementation and Integration of Solutions- Support and provide guidance and direction for the solutions' implementation and integration to ensure the smooth fit of the solution within the existing architecture and the fulfillment of the defined business objectives.

.Compliance with Security Standards - Ensure the solution designs are compliant with stringent MoJ and Gov wide security standards to safeguard sensitive data and prevent potential breaches.

.Project Outcomes - Support analysis on project cost, timeline, and benefits
