Senior Statutory, VAT & Regulatory Reporting Accountant

Your new role
We are looking for qualified candidates, ACA, ACCA or CIMA with a strong technical bias and knowledge of preparing statutory accounts for numerous entities ideally both within the UK and overseas. Key duties include:

• Ensure timely preparation and submission of both UK and Overseas legal entity statutory reporting and tax returns, in accordance with local GAAP/ IFRS and other reporting standards
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of regulatory and compliance reports & surveys, and support for cost centre budget preparation and monitoring
• Complete VAT returns for assigned entities and prepare the corresponding paperwork for payment
• You will establish and manage strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, external auditors, external tax advisors and coordinate audits.
• You will support the manager with common processes, and other ad-hoc projects.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking to speak to fully Qualified candidates who have either trained within a larger Accountancy Practice or a larger international company. This role could suit a first or second time mover who has good knowledge of IFRS. Exposure to US GAAP would also be a benefit as would experience of overseas legislation and financial reporting,
