Senior Solution Architect - Remote

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect with some background in healthcare IT to drive digital transformation initiatives. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-level IT architectures that support healthcare systems, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enterprise Architecture Development: Define and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks aligned with healthcare business strategies.
• Healthcare IT Expertise: Provide guidance on healthcare-specific IT systems, such as EHRs, interoperability, data security, and compliance (eg, HIPAA, GDPR, NHS Digital Standards).
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Develop strategies for cloud adoption (Azure, AWS, or GCP), hybrid architectures, and on-premises healthcare systems.
• Digital Transformation: Lead IT modernization projects, ensuring seamless integration of emerging technologies like AI, IoT, and advanced analytics.
• Data Strategy & Governance: Oversee data architecture, interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7), and patient data security protocols.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, executives, and healthcare providers to align architecture with business needs.
• Agile & DevOps: Implement best practices for agile development, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines in healthcare environments.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare IT regulations and data protection laws across various jurisdictions.

Required Skills & Experience:

Enterprise Architecture Expertise: Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide IT architectures.
Healthcare Industry Experience: Strong background in healthcare IT solutions, interoperability, and regulations.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures.
Frameworks & Standards: Proficiency in TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL, or similar architecture methodologies.
Interoperability & Data Standards: Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, DICOM, and other healthcare data exchange protocols.
Cybersecurity & Compliance: Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, NHS Digital Standards, and secure system design.
Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives.

Language: Must have Dutch & English

Preferred Qualifications:

TOGAF or relevant Enterprise Architecture certification.
Experience in hospital IT infrastructure, telemedicine, or AI-driven healthcare solutions.
Strong background in microservices architecture and API-driven healthcare solutions.
