Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: The Hague, Netherlands (hybrid work environment)
Duration: January 2025 - January 2027
Hours: 32-40 hours/week, including participation in 24/7 on-call duties (every 3-5 weeks)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and automate a dynamic IT environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), APIs, and pipelines.
• Implement and support 24/7 operational reliability with a DevOps approach and the SAFe framework.
• Collaborate in (SAFe) Scrum teams with colleagues and clients to achieve team goals.
• Plan and execute the migration of applications from VMs to Kubernetes platforms.
• Ensure all work is documented in tools like Jira and Confluence and actively share knowledge.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical problems independently.

Requirements:

• Languages: Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written).
• Education: Minimum HBO (higher professional education).
• Experience: Proficiency with:
• Linux (RedHat 8.x/9.x), Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Python, Rancher, Elastic, Kafka, Nessus.
• Application and infrastructure management in complex environments.
• Location: Residing within 1.5 hours of The Hague and able to work on-site at least twice weekly.
