Senior Programme Analyst

Prospectus is proud to be working with a newly established philanthropic foundation aiming for lasting impact, in their search for a Senior Programme Analyst. This is a full time, permanent role, based in London (Hybrid).

The two focus areas for the foundation are to protect the world's tropical rainforests; and to support athletes to fulfil their potential following the end of their sporting careers. The Senior Programme Analyst is required to stay up to date on these topics, leading on research and the development of briefings and reports, and bring insight, ideas and recommendations to our work based on evidence. The postholder will identify strategies and partnerships for the Foundation and will be expected to engage with grantees to review progress, compile reports, identify issues and challenges and provide assessments and recommendations. The postholder will also work across the organisation leading on ad hoc projects for internal and external purposes, including organising and convening meetings, drafting papers and articles, and managing information systems.

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, both written and verbal, able to mix their research capabilities with summarising large amounts of information for different audiences and with a track record of drawing out analysis, insights and recommendations. Past experience of research and report writing will be crucial. This is a growing organisation and this is a key role in helping the organisation as it learns and develops . The ideal candidate will also be happy to be a self-starter, able to manage some ambiguity, and hold a drive to develop this role.
