Senior Product Manager - Platform/web (SQL, Tableau and Grafana)

Job Summary
A Senior Product Manager leads large-scale, complex products or a portfolio of features critical to business success.
They may lead multiple development teams and influence work across different areas of the organization.
They align stakeholders, define strategy through data and customer insight, and deliver new products or meaningful product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Product Delivery

• Owns roadmaps and delivery for highly complex initiatives with multiple dependencies

• Identifies risks early and defines mitigation plans

• Drives execution using appropriate delivery frameworks (eg, Scrum, Kanban)

Data Fluency

• Defines and explains primary and supporting metrics

• Forms solid hypotheses for experimentation and understands statistical analysis

• Can independently analyze complex datasets and leverage Proxy metrics when necessary

• Partners with analysts to track and report KPIs

Customer Insight

• Applies multiple techniques (interviews, surveys, analytics) to uncover customer needs

• Converts insights into hypotheses for new or improved experiences

• Collaborates with research and design to validate ideas and improve usability

• Uses blended insights from various sources to understand behavior and pain points

Stakeholder Management

• Identifies all affected stakeholders and integrates their feedback

• Proactively manages expectations across teams and up to Director level

• Tailors updates by audience and delivery method (written, verbal, presentations)

• Handles challenging stakeholders with independence and professionalism

Tech Fluency

• Partners closely with Engineering to represent user and business needs in tech decisions

• Understands key systems and how they interact to anticipate edge cases

• Communicates technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical audiences

• Ensures product design aligns with short- and long-term technical feasibility

Product Strategy

• Sets product vision and one-year strategy for a portfolio or complex feature

• Owns objectives at the team and group levels and ensures alignment

• Develops and communicates go-to-market plans and product positioning

• Contributes to broader organizational strategy and prioritization

Your Skills and Experience

• 5?8 years experience as a Senior Product Manager or similar in a global setting

• Proven success delivering complex projects in contract roles

• Comfortable navigating cross-functional environments (design, legal, data, compliance)

• Strong analytical and technical documentation skills

• Agile product development experience

• Expertise in creating high-quality user experiences on Web and App platforms

• Experience with system workflows, data models, and user journey mapping

• Skilled facilitator for workshops and stakeholder presentations

• Able to distill complexity into actionable steps and communicate clearly across levels

Desirable Skills

• Experience with large-scale technology platforms in global organizations

• Background in insurance or other regulated industries

• Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Grafana, or similar tools
