(Senior Motion Designer - 6 months - hybrid - 550-600pday inIR35)
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Motion Designer, ideally with public sector or Government background on a 6 months hybrid role - approx. 1 day in either the London or Bristol office.
The Senior Motion Designer will be crucial in creating visually compelling motion graphics and animations that elevate our creative output. They will collaborate closely with the design team, Head of Design, Brand Design Lead, and Senior Accessibility Specialist to develop concepts, design animations, and ensure that all motion elements align with the project's vision.
Experience required:
5+ years of professional experience (agency or in-house) in motion design, with a graphic design background and with a portfolio showcasing strong creative and technical abilities across various media formats.
Can demonstrate experience of creating static and motion graphics for a multichannel organisation, including social media, video/YouTube, mobile Apps and Websites that coherently express the brand across all those channels.
Expertise in creating dynamic motion graphics, including animation, kinetic typography, particle effects, and visual storytelling through motion.
Proficiency prototyping in motion, using Principle, Figma, or a similar tool
Advanced proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Suite (particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Adobe Animate and Illustrator).
Experience in Red Giant and Cinema 4D or equivalent are added bonuses.
Strong experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, particularly for integrating motion graphics with live-action footage.
In-depth knowledge of file formats, codecs, and optimisation techniques to ensure motion graphics perform well across various platforms
