Senior Engineer Power Signoff / Chip Design (w/m/div)

In your new role you will:
- Develop and implement methods for the power and IR-drop sign-off process, supporting technologies from 12nm to 130nm
- Be responsible for developing digital power sign-off guidelines
- Analyze DSM effects and their relevance to power and IR-drop over the lifetime
- Develop methods to predict, assess, and measure the power consumption of products
- Assess and evaluate external foundry sign-off recommendations
- Determine and fine-tune implementation and sign-off guard bands to achieve optimal design robustness
You commit yourself to the results of your own team and the company as a whole, produce results even in changing circumstances. You also enjoy developing your knowledge and skills.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a similar field of study
- At least 2 years of industrial experience, or a PhD degree in the field of power IR-drop or a related discipline
- Experience with static analysis methods and SPICE simulation
- Advanced programming skills in Perl and Python
- A background in understanding uncertainties in chip design and static verification
- Excellent communication skills in English, with German being an added advantage
