Senior DevOps Engineer

24 months - Freelance contract

Hybrid - The Hague/Utrecht and Remote

Language: Dutch and English

(client ideally looking for someone 3 days/week but 5 days/week can be proposed)

Tasks:

• Develop and maintain microservices for the system.
• Managing and optimising the current architecture.
• Developing new functionalities and integrations.
• Liaising with Front End developers for Angular Front End integration.
• Carrying out code reviews and ensuring code quality.
• Refining (technical) user stories and contributing to sprint planning.
• Proactive participation in team ceremonies such as stand-ups, retrospectives and sprint reviews.
• Implementing best practices for DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitoring and improving system performance and reliability.
• Documenting development processes and sharing knowledge with team members.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in (semi-)governmental institutions
• Knowledge and experience working in a SAFe environment and/or Agile Scrum environment
• Knowledge and experience in Route Cause Analysis (RCA), management experience
• Experience in creating and maintaining interfaces, endpoints and APIs
• Experience with software development in a modern cloud environment (Picard is a plus), Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Pipelines (CI/CD)
• Several years of experience with application/website development in Java (8, 11, 17 & 21), Spring Boot, Microservices, TTD, API development, OAuth, Ansible, Angular
